1. Apr 2025 to present

   DevOps Engineer, Junior IT Consultant

   ORDIX · Germany

   • ▹On sabbatical since March 2026 to complete an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Liverpool.
   • ▹Took over operations and further development of a production monitoring platform (Elastic Stack, Icinga 2) processing around 20 million logs per day for a nationwide toll operator: established GitLab as single source of truth, automated all service configurations with Ansible and published documentation to Confluence via CI/CD.
   • ▹Modernised the platform's Python alerting scripts with unit tests, packaging, current Python versions and GitLab CI/CD pipelines for testing, linting and deployment.
   • ▹Built highly available PostgreSQL clusters on Kubernetes with CloudNativePG and Argo CD for the IT service provider of a nationwide retailer, replacing CockroachDB, and delivered an operations handbook.
   • ▹Advised a logistics network operator on CloudNativePG configuration during a PostgreSQL performance project.
   • ▹Developed Terraform modules and Ansible roles that provision training environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, rebuilt weekly for several hundred participants per year.
   • ▹Taught internal seminars on Python, GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD, and supervised working students.

2. Apr 2024 to Mar 2025

   Python Developer (Working Student)

   ORDIX · Germany

   • ▹Automated HR and controlling processes: Python scripts read timesheet data from an Informix database and fill client-specific document formats.
   • ▹Co-developed an internal Streamlit app in which consultants maintain their profiles for sales.
   • ▹Benchmarked five PostgreSQL operators for Kubernetes on features and failover times; published the results and presented them at a meetup.

   • ▹Single-node Talos Linux cluster on Proxmox, fully GitOps-managed with Argo CD, Kustomize and Helm, with Cilium, OpenBao, Kyverno, Longhorn and CloudNativePG.
   • ▹Every pull request is rendered and validated with kubeconform in GitHub Actions; Renovate keeps dependencies current.
